The Grenadier pub ghost hunt
Known as the most haunted pub in London, famous for the spirit of Cedric the Ghost of a soldier who was beaten to death in the basement area, after getting caught cheating a game of cards. Visitors of the pub from all over the world have left money on the ceiling with messages written in them for decades, to help pay off Cedric’s debt in the after life.
Originally an officers mess for the Grenadier Guards in London, this quintessential British pub is nestled at the bottom of a cobbled back street of Belgravia. The basement had a small secret tunnel (now bricked up) that led to a large stately home in London.
Regular patrons of the pub included our two time Prime minister The Duke of Wellington, who would drink his favourite tipple, Nicholson’s gin! It is rumoured the step outside is the one he used to mount his horse, before heading off to the famous battle of Waterloo.
Many famous visitors from all over the world have visited The Grenadier pub due to its notoriety with the guards, royalty, history and of course, its ghost story... including John Travolta, Lady gaga & Jackie Onassis to name a few!
Many investigators from all over the world have experienced activity here and now Twilight has the absolute honour of having exclusive Paranormal access to this quant and wonderful part of British history!
The month of September is rumoured to have always been the most active, we can testify to that after two separate September evenings we have experienced things that not only we couldn’t explain, but left us genuinely scared.
The staff here have told me their stories and experiences and after spending countless nights there now, it has a very special place in our paranormal hearts and lives up to its reputation and is little London landmark in its own little right!
